OUR COMMITMENTS

We care about how things are made — and what’s left behind.

Aroma Theory reflects the people who bring it to life —
the hands that formulate each product, the partners who grow and distil our ingredients, and the customers who choose to live more intentionally with scent and care.

The brand was created with a clear intention: to work thoughtfully and responsibly, without rushing growth or making promises that cannot be upheld. Sustainability, for Aroma Theory, is not a label or a destination — it is an ongoing practice of questioning, learning, and refining how we create.

While we are proud of the steps taken so far, responsibility is never static. There is always more to learn, more to refine, and more to do. Our commitment is to continue evolving with honesty, intention, and respect — for both materials and people.

Materials & Packaging

We prioritise glass packaging wherever possible — chosen for its recyclability, stability, and ability to protect delicate formulations without compromise.

Our secondary packaging is designed to be:

- recyclable

- biodegradable

- minimal by intention

In 2025, Aroma Theory was recognised at London Packaging Week for innovation in sustainable design, receiving an award for our mushroom mycelium candle packaging — a biodegradable alternative developed to reduce reliance on conventional protective materials.

This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to exploring responsible solutions that balance function, beauty, and environmental impact.

Designed to return to the earth.

We prioritise materials that protect both our formulations and the environment. Glass is used wherever possible for its stability, recyclability, and longevity.

Our secondary packaging is designed to break down, not build up — biodegradable, recyclable, and intentionally minimal.

We are committed to reducing consumable waste and actively seek new material innovations that support a circular approach to packaging. This includes ongoing exploration of biodegradable alternatives, compostable protection, and low-impact production methods.

Innovation, for us, is not a finished achievement, but a responsibility we continue to carry forward.

Ingredients & Sourcing

We work with trusted suppliers and growers who share our values of ethical sourcing, transparency, and respect for natural cycles.

Harvests vary. Crops change. Nature is not uniform — and we do not attempt to force it to be. Instead, we adapt our formulations and production schedules in response to seasonal availability and quality.
